Brief & Scala Model: For extended work shifts, the allowable exposure limit is reduced proportionally.

  • 8-hour shift → Full PEL
  • 10-hour shift → 80% of PEL
  • 12-hour shift → 66.7% of PEL
Used for noise, chemicals, and physical agents when shifts exceed 8 hours.
